Biography

Ken Turnipseed offers legal services to commercial and health care organizations and individuals. Recently, he assisted on a variety of matters, including:

  • Helping hospitals, medical practices and physicians with health care legal and transactional matters, such as corporate compliance systems and negotiating and drafting physician recruitment and employment contracts
  • Offering services that represent businesses, including building, advising on operation, combining and acquiring
  • Facilitating commercial and residential real estate purchases, sales and financings
  • Offering assistance to customers with estate planning that encompasses uncomplicated and complicated matters, such as trusts, estates and wills

Before settling in South Georgia, Ken offered legal services in Birmingham, Alabama, at Balch & Bingham, LLP. He advised public and private businesses on finance and securities matters and gave technical health care regulatory guidance to medical professionals, hospitals and health care systems. He also aided different business and wellness clients with transaction matters like mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to pursuing law, Ken was a tax specialist at Ernst & Young, LLP, in Birmingham, Alabama, where he offered taxation guidance to both large and small organizations concerning everyday operations and business transactions.

Ken has two daughters who are heavily involved in their local community. His family is an active part of the First United Methodist Church in Moultrie, and they lend their time to a range of voluntary efforts.
